This past summer, bottles of 200-year-old champagne were salvaged from a shipwreck in the Baltic Sea. Now the bubbly can be tasted on the Åland islands.The Åland islands have few other attractions. They belong to Finland, but their 30,000 residents consider themselves more Swedish than Finnish and speak Swedish. Now they are boasting about their unique preservation conditions, and the 200-year-old tipple is actually said to be still quite drinkable.
